The third part of the Agulhas-Karoo transect crosses the NNMB and the boundary to the Kaapvaal Craton. The 300 km long profile (MT3) from Fraserburg to Strydenburg was equiped with 120 broad band instruments with an average site spacing of 2-3 km. In addition to the broad band instruments 19 long period instruments were deployed with a spacing of 10-15 km.
