202511 - Eger-Large-N Seis
Abstract
Eger Swarm Region Passive Seismic Experiment:
2025-07-28 to 2026-09-21
2025-07-28 to 2026-09-21
The passive seismology experiment is a contribution to the ICDP Eger initiative. It also contributes to the GFZ Central Europe Volcano Observatory (CVO) and is part of a larger international initiative to study distributed volcanic fields in Central Europe, providing the fourth Large-N experiment to complement similar experiments in N-Spain, France (MACIV in the Central Massive) and Germany (Eifel). In a larger context, it will also contribute to the ALPARRAY and ADRIA ARRAY datasets.
