202601 - TreeSway II Seis
Abstract
How trees sway and what it tells us about their overall vitality:
2026-02-09 to 2027-01-15
2026-02-09 to 2027-01-15
We propose monitoring forest health by tracking tree sway through seismic ground motion. This scalable, non-invasive method links wind-induced sway to tree stress, offering a low-maintenance alternative to conventional indicators.
